Our list of suggested venues only scratches the surface. So much here to see and do! We can help guide you through this list and more that isn’t shown here. Times and performances change often; here we list links for your trip planning:
Local Annual Events
New Year’s Celebration, Hershey New Year’s Celebration, Lebanon (The New Year’s links shown are from years past, but will be updated by the appropriate organizations once the date is close to New Year’s)
The Hershey AMERICA’S LARGEST RV Show
American Antique Automobile Association (AACA) (United States’ Largest) Fall Show- Sale-Flea Market
The Pennsylvania Farm Show (Over 37 acres under roof) (Wow—9,000 parking spaces, yet they often rely on overflow lots!)
Lititz, PA Festivals. Voted the “Coolest Small Town in America” in 2013’s nationwide contest.
Specialized shopping and dining are found in this village. The Gretna Tabernacle, along with a litany of festivals including the Mt. Gretna Art Show make Gretna very special. Gretna theatre brings Broadway professional productions to a unique theatre under the forest canopy. The community is built on the side of one of our mountains, and large American Four-Square homes, most decorated in Arts & Crafts/Mission abound. The homes feature enormous porches, are outfitted with fine rugs and art, and most seem to cling to one another as they stand up to the mountain. One of our favorite places for a drive or a walk. Twisty, windy streets, some too narrow for automobiles. The Chautauqua Movement is alive and well in Mt. Gretna as evidenced by the Hall of Philosophy.
Winery Events and Concerts. Our area is flush with wineries and vineyards; nearly all provide live entertainment. Our Winery and Vineyard page will list all Wineries close to Annville Inn
