Weavers Produce – Farm Fresh Produce and Baked Goods

Weavers Produce has been operating “around the corner” from Annville Inn since 1999, this year marks their 27th anniversary!  For nearly three decades, the Weaver family has been providing top quality beautiful and nutritious fruits and vegetables  to Central Pennsylvania.

“My parents, Ray and Ellen Weaver, started Weaver’s Produce in 1999 to sell fresh sweet corn. Over the years, we have really grown.  Now, with our team and loyal customers, we’ve gradually expanded into a market offering produce, baked goods, and more all focused on fresh, seasonal offerings,” explains Ray Weaver, Jr.

We tell our Guests, “Weavers Produce is known far and wide in our valley as the producer of the best, sweetest corn in the region.” 

We often have Guests stop by Weavers Produce to load up their trunks with corn after they check out.  All the produce at the market is displayed beautifully, is fresh, and is locally grown—much of it in the fields right next to the stand.

Baked Goods and More

One of our favorites is Ray Jr.’s aunt’s bakery.  A product Ray brings in from “Aunt Kate’s” bakery is her hard pretzels.  A big bag is very reasonably priced, and we warn you in advance:  They are addictive!  Additional prepared items found at Weaver’s Produce farm stand include home made root beer, canned pickles and much more.  Also available are farm fresh eggs, and some days you might even find a coffee food truck in the parking lot!

Produce is the number one attraction at Weavers Produce.  Besides several varieties of corn grown just feet away from the stand, you’ll find trailer loads of watermelon (including yellow meated watermelon, a real treat), tomatoes, peppers of all sorts, cucumbers, onions, plums, peaches, and much more. 

When in season, Ray Weaver’s family (it takes eight to 10 people a day to operate the stand!)  also offers blueberries from New Jersey and freshly shipped in cherries from Washington state.  However, over 95% of the produce from Weaver’s Produce comes directly from the rich soil of the Weaver farm and farms here in the Lebanon Valley. Within the stand, you’ll discover over 20 different fruits and vegetables—and always something new to discover, perhaps a new variety of a vegetable or some freshly picked lima beans—all grown right on the farm.
