Corn Mazes in the Annville & Hershey Area
Corn Mazes late summer through late fall have become an expected feature of autumn festivities here in the beautiful, verdant Lebanon Valley. Two outstanding Corn Mazes in the Annville Inn-Hershey area are just a few miles from Annville Inn, in the heart of Lebanon County.
Seyfert’s Corn Maze

Seyfert’s Corn Maze was the brainchild of a 15-year-old farm boy, Kyle Seyfert, who launched the enterprise in 2001 when he was a sophomore in high school. The maze today covers over 14 acres!
The Corn Maze was his way of completing a project requirement for his agricultural education class. With the goal of creating a family activity at a reasonable cost, Seyfert’s Corn Maze was created.
With the help of his family and his friends, young Mr. Seyfert and his crew make improvements each season so that the Corn Maze is always fresh, always different, and enjoyable year after year. That is the secret to the Corn Maze’s tremendous cadre of repeat visitors.
Today the 15-year-old’s dream is much more than a Corn Maze. Visitors can enjoy rubber duck races as well as pumpkin patches, food trucks and stands, balloon launches, and more. The goal is to create a fun, adventurous, and SAFE experience for all visitors.
Lebanon County’s largest maze, it is designed just like a child’s puzzle maze. One launches their adventure at the entrance and walks through the twisting and turning trails with the goal of departing through the exit. Ta Daa! You succeeded! 😊
Risser Marvel Corn Maze

The Risser Marvel Farm Market is a full-service farmer’s produce stand offering everything from Pennsylvania Maple Syrup (considered by many to be superior in both flavor and color to Vermont/Canada/New York maple syrups) to an array of farm baked goods, meats, local dairy products, jarred produce, live plants, pumpkins and more. If it grows on their Lebanon County farm, it is on sale at the market stand, right on the farm itself.
When visiting in the fall, discover pick-your-own pumpkins, the corn maze (a local favorite), a hay maze, tractor-pulled hayride, and other fun fall activities!
Considered a “mini-maze” at about two-and-a-half acres, the estimated completion time of 45 minutes to an hour. “We don’t want the maze to be too hard, so everyone can enjoy it,” said Tina Forry, half of the husband & wife team (Tina and Greg) that launched the farm market in 2007. (The maze began the following year, 2008). The family farm and produce operation stretches back even further…to 1928 !
A unique feature of the maze is the bridge. This allows the design to offer more than just left/right/straight ahead choices. Some trails do not intersect with a choice of turning a different direction…instead another trail could cross OVER the one you are on, and you have to figure out how to get up on it, should you want to be on the trail passing over you.)

Why Choose Just One?
Adventure seeking Guests of Annville Inn have often taken in BOTH mazes near the Inn as both have their own unique perspectives. We also have repeat Guests who go to one maze one year, the other maze the next year, and alternate back and forth.
As one Guest told us, “Why be boxed in at an “escape room” when you can be out in the fresh air, enjoying the beautiful blue Pennsylvania sky, and out in nature, planning your escape through the intriguing mazes. You also get to enjoy hot apple cider, pumpkin pie, and tons of other farm goodies! So fresh, and so real!”
There are many other corn mazes in our area including in Lancaster County, Dauphin County, and others. This blog focuses on maze experiences in Lebanon County, very near Annville Inn.
Don’t forget: Annville Inn has its own maze, open year ‘round, located in our botanical gardens. The 35’ tall trees hide a chapel, a pond and waterfall, a large picnic aera, secluded hammock for two as well as a meditation area, and more!
